Nicola Ciniero brings more than 40 years of IT sector experience. Following early roles at HP, Nixdord e Digital Equipment, Ciniero was President and CEO at Compaq Computer, and CEO and President at IBM Italia, where he later served as Chairman of the Board and President of the IBM Italy Foundation until 2017. He has served on the Board of Directors at Assolombarda, Confindustria, Assinform, Sda Bocconi and the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy. For the past five years he has been a board member of Elmec Informatica Spa.

Ciniero has been awarded the honor of Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana since 2000 and is an Honorary Member of the Scuola Militare “Teulié” in Milan since 2015. Born in Milan, Cinerio is a graduate of classical studies and a graduate in jurisprudence.
