Paris, 20th September 2018 – Artificial intelligence software provider expert.ai is working with Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) on its PanOptes project, with the aim of automating the analysis and processing of public information and the management of unstructured content. The PanOptes web portal uses collective intelligence to provide its users with the most relevant information based on a semantic analysis of public data flows. PanOptes uses expert.ai Platform to semantically process large volumes of textual content from various sources.
Gautier Sartorius, Securitisation Chief Information Officer, Global Markets Division at Crédit Agricole CIB, and project owner of PanOptes since day one, says “Expert.ai really boosted the project. The first pilot was so easy to implement that we were soon presenting the features to our users and showing them the added value of the expert.ai solution. The Media Topic module, mapping global media trends in real-time, made a particularly powerful instant impression. Expert.ai technology’s strength lies in its implementation speed, its ease of use, and the coverage of its out-of-the-box knowledge graph and classification plan.”
Based on artificial intelligence algorithms that automate unstructured data processing, expert.ai Platform is an integral part of the PanOptes platform. Leveraging multilingual Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, the new solution combines a semantic search engine with a virtual agent capable of accurately understanding the content coming from the data sources, categorising it, identifying opinions and grouping it by topic or geographical location.
“The tools’ flexibility allows us to constantly evolve features based on our lead users’ feedback, which they find thrilling, ” adds Gautier Sartorius.
“We’re proud of the work we’ve achieved with Crédit Agricole CIB to support innovation,” concludes Alain Biancardi, VP Sales & Marketing, expert.ai France. “More than a set of natural language processing engines, expert.ai Platform helps organizations share knowledge and manage it in a collaborative way.”
