Computerizing the Public Administration, 7-27-2007
The temporary grouping of companies formed by Telecom Italia, ElsagDatamat and Engineering Ingegneria Informatica has won the lot n. 1 of the competition called by CNIPA (Centro Nazionale per l’Informatica nella Pubblica Amministrazione) for the “design, development and management of web services and the operating of systems for the Public Administration in the area of the Public System of Connectivity”. Expert System’s Cogito® is listed in the framework described in the technical tender, among Content Management services.
The contract, valid for five years, enables national public administrations to access a platform of services and ICT products, including the semantic engine by Expert System, which is therefore certified by CNIPA. As a result, Cogito will contribute to the modernization of public administration through fast, targeted and effective searches, relying both on the comprehension of concepts contained in documents and on the intelligent management of information.
