Expert System, leader in software applications for document management with linguistic analysis and the understanding of the meaning of words (Semantic Intelligence), has announced an important collaboration with Ansa, the principal Italian agency of information, and one of the first of its kind in the world. The collaboration between Expert System and Ansa will rely on the acquisition of a semantic platform to support editorial activity.
The innovative technology of Expert System will allow Ansa to effectively diffuse news, as well as to sort and manage the news contents. Cogito®, the patent pending semantic platform developed by Expert System, analyzes each piece of news, finding the grammatical, logical and semantic elements in each sentence employing predefined categorization parameters. The information is then sorted based on content and classified according to the international IPTC (International Press Telecommunication Council) standards.
Expert System’s solution allows Ansa to constantly update news and to regularly categorize information. The process of news release is fast and efficient and the update of daily information is frequent and more complete than ever before.
“We are proud to be able to collaborate with Ansa, one of the most important information agency in the world,” said Stefano Spaggiari, CEO, Expert System. ” Expert System’s applications were carefully designed to allow Ansa to make use of the semantic technology in its editorial activities, and to augment the value in the process of news management and categorization.”
