Expert System USA, leading provider of semantic software that discovers, classifies and interprets unstructured text information, was awarded a Stevie for Best New Product or Service of the Year in the category of Computer Software, New Version at The 2010 American Business Awards. Cogito® Focus, the Company’s core semantic platform, was awarded the win for its capabilities to search, analyze and correlate strategic information across multiple platforms in various formats.
Stevie Awards were presented in more than 40 categories including Best Overall Company of the Year, Executive of the Year and Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year. More than 2,700 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration. Expert System beat out other finalists including AlarmPoint Systems, Central Desktop and Knovel.

With more thorough and accurate search functions, coupled with deeper analysis of the content, Cogito Focus enables companies to make better business decisions.
More than 200 executives across the country participated in the judging process to determine the Finalists and Stevie Award winners.
