Financial losses caused by Insurance Frauds are endemic. Overall phenomena at worldwide level has a huge economic impact. Desolate is a service which performs a deep data analysis on evidence related to insurance claims, bringing to light novel fraud schemas before the money is lost forever. Insurance companies will reduce losses caused by frauds normally considered endemic. Hidden relations, weak signals of fraudulent activities included in unstructured data, will be correlated in order to discover potential undetected frauds. DESOLATE delivers automated semantic-based and deep learning tools with innovative capabilities for cost-effective analysis and detection of potential frauds, by focusing first on suspicious cases (prioritization) supported by novel data visualisation tools.
